Bellingen is our softest worsted weight 100% wool yarn, and has a wonderful sheen as a result of its Basolan treatment. It has an anti-felt treatment, and can be machine washed on the gentle cycle and dried flat.

It is a heavier worsted weight and knits to the same gauge as Malabrigo worsted, and can be substituted for it. Gauge 16-18 stitches per 10cm (4 “) on 4.5mm – 5.5mm needles (US 7-9).  1633 metres per kg , or 178 yards per 100 gram skein.
