Ultimo – 20% silk/20% bamboo/60% wool sport weight
Everyone who has felt Ultimo loves it. The silk and bamboo combine to give a lovely smooth yarn with a lovely sheen. Dye saturates it brilliantly, and the knitted fabric has a beautiful hand.
Ultimo will felt, and should only be handwashed in luke warm water and dried flat. 3,333 metres per kg, or over 360 yards per 100 gram skein. You can see samples of Ultimo knitted up here.
